Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist for International Payrolls to join our team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience working with overseas payroll and wants to take their career to the next level.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing monthly changes, including starters, leavers, and salary changes on the payroll system within deadline. They will also work with the payroll vendor to ensure all payroll processes are completed and make sure supplemental runs are processed and payments are raised where necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process monthly changes, including starters, leavers, and salary changes on the payroll system within deadline
  • Work with the payroll vendor to ensure all payroll processes are completed
  • Process supplemental runs and raise payments where necessary
  • Prepare and post monthly payroll journals
  • Work with the wider finance team to reconcile payroll ledger accounts
  • Liaise with tax authorities as required
  • Respond to employee payroll queries within service level agreement

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in overseas payroll
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels
  • Able to work with the global payroll team with a basic understanding of international payroll processes
  • Hard-working and enthusiastic, with a high level of initiative and a willingness to learn
  • Intermediate Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience of working with WorkDay would be an advantage.

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
