About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in the Gateshead area. As a key member of our team, you will work with children who have a diagnosis of Social and Emotional Mental Health needs, providing support and guidance to help them overcome their challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use your judgement and creativity to plan and deliver interventions that meet the needs of the young people
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the children and their families
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to help the children manage their emotions and develop coping strategies
