Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Gold Group in Cheltenham. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for driving quality assurance and ensuring compliance with quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Audit Planning and Execution: Plan and carry out schedules of audits and assessments, completing associated documentation and activities in accordance with the QMS.
  2. Investigation Support: Support investigations arising from quality issues through to their documented conclusion, with supporting root cause analysis and solutions to prevent re-occurrence.
  3. Corrective and Preventative Actions: Manage completion and effectiveness of corrective and preventative measures.
  4. QA Compliance: Ensure quality measures with associated targets are maintained for QA compliance.
  5. External Audits: Support external quality audits, assessments, and visits by customers and authorities.
  6. Shop Floor Checks: Perform regular shop floor checks, report any issues, and effectively resolve them.
  7. Issue Resolution: Coordinate timely responses and resolution of quality issues identified.
  8. Quality Planning: Assist in generating quality plans and proposals.
  9. First Article Reports: Support generation of first article reports internally and customer-facing activities for product verification.
  10. Supplier Inspection: Support customer or supplier source inspection or delegate product review verification activities.
  11. Company Approvals: Maintain company approvals, such as airworthiness.
Requirements:
  1. Quality Management System Experience: Proven experience working within a quality management system.
  2. Auditing Experience: Experience with auditing, both internal and supporting external audits.
