Merchandise Control Specialist

At QHQ Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Merchandise Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for managing the critical path of our product lifecycle.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and organized individual with experience in Critical Path Management, liaison with Buyers, Production, Design, Fabric Teams, and external partners. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the critical path, ensuring timely delivery of products
- Action and manage customer and samples for all departments
- Ensure design samples are submitted in a timely fashion and maintain a log of all garments submitted
- Chase and issue responses following meetings
- Data input on systems and flow sheets
- Answer queries from factories, sales, and in-house teams
- Work with PDM and Intake plans on a daily basis
- Issue and chase weekly sales figures
- Liaise with buyers, merchandisers, technologists, designers, and factories on a daily basis
- Raise and issue PO's
- Delegate work to junior team members
- Price negotiation and cost engineering
- Trims purchase and stock control
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in independently managing critical path management
- Experience working with Womenswear CMT and fully factored manufacturers is essential
- Ideal candidate should have fast fashion supplier experience
- Commercial and numerical with good analytical skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent organization and coordination skills
- Good computer skills
- Proactive and uses initiative
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is approximately £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
