About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our client's team. As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of commercial fit-out projects, working closely with the Managing Directors and site teams. Your primary duties will include:

  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Travel to sites across the South of England to oversee project progress and manage site teams.
  • Calculate prime costs on developments, including sub-contractors and materials.
  • Deal with valuations and payment notices, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Prepare detailed cost budget plans and share with site teams.
  • Maintain schedules of quantities and price them for the prime cost budget.
  • Prepare estimates of all costs, including sub-contractors and materials.
  • Overall responsibility for successfully delivering all construction projects on time and within agreed budget.
  • Work closely with the supply chain and clients, providing market-leading technical expertise.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Contracts Manager in a commercial fit-out environment.
  • Preferably a carpentry and joinery background.
  • Ambitious and driven, with a strong commercial understanding.
  • Excellent client-facing skills and ability to work autonomously.
