Job Opportunity for a General Manager with Accommodation

McMullens is seeking an experienced General Manager to run one of our Destination pubs in Hertfordshire.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and energetic problem solver who wants to make this pub stand out by putting their own stamp on the business, developing a strong team, engaging guests through events and social media, and focusing on delivering the Destination experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding the guests' needs and responding to market demand
  • Flawless execution of the offer
  • Creation of sales driving activities
  • Recruiting, coaching, and guiding the team to get the best out of them every day
  • Engaging the team through regular meetings, incentives, and social activity
  • Being able to spot talent and develop individuals to reach their potential
  • Financial management of the business to deliver profit growth
  • Ability to plan sales and cost lines
  • All aspects of licensing, food, and health & safety compliance in line with the law
