Council Licensing Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced individual to take on a key role in leading our Licensing Service functions.
Main Responsibilities- Monitor and review progress against policy, plans, and targets, ensuring accountability for agreed outcomes.
- Prepare and submit reports to Regulatory Committees, Cabinet, and other council meetings.
- Collaborate with partners (Avon and Somerset Police, Police, Crime Commissioner, Avon Fire and Rescue) and internal colleagues to deliver on licensing objectives.
- Substantial relevant experience in licensing and educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification.
- Ability to lead and manage a large team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and legislative requirements.
- Proven track record of delivering against equality, diversity, and inclusion objectives within service areas.
