Receptionist - Front Desk Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel & Spa. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide reception services to guests, including check-in, check-out, and responding to queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with and complete audits, as required.
- Ensure an efficient reception experience for guests, including handling room assignments, key cards, and other front office tasks.
- Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain a high level of customer service standards, responding to guest feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge of hotel operations, services, and policies.
- Work collaboratively with the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic knowledge of hotel operations, services, and policies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
