Job Description

The Retirement Benefits Manager position at JSS Search involves overseeing the administration of our pension plans, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing contributions, distributions, and transfers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Pension Administration: Manage the day-to-day administration of pension plans, including contribution processing, distribution, and transfer management.
  • Employee Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding pension options and support, providing expert guidance and assistance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local pension regulations, preparing reports for management, auditors, and regulatory bodies as necessary.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee pension information within the ADP system and other databases.
  • Pension Plan Optimization: Analyze pension plan performance and suggest improvements to enhance employee benefits and reduce costs.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with pension providers to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and employee needs.
  • Talent Development: Deliver training and educational sessions on pension-related matters.
