Job Description:

We are seeking a Highly Experienced Child Psychologist to join our team at Shire Healthcare. As a specialist provider of psychological therapies, we understand the complex nature of children's emotional and behavioural needs.

The successful candidate will have experience working with Looked After Children (LAC) and young people who display challenging behaviours. You will be responsible for providing reflective and supportive therapeutic practice within our residential services across Portsmouth.

">

This is a permanent role that requires a HCPC registered psychologist with experience in trauma-informed practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Providing therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conducting assessments and developing formulations to inform therapeutic interventions
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to the development of service policies and procedures

Requirements:

">
  • HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Experience working with LAC/CYP residential services or trauma-informed services
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of £45,000 - £63,000 per annum
  • A car allowance of up to £3,000 per year for full-time applicants
