Business Development and Strategy
* Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities in the Aerospace and Defence sectors across the UK.
* Drive TRIGO's growth through the expansion of services such as quality management, technical resourcing, supplier management, engineering services, and consulting solutions.
* Lead efforts to expand relationships with existing clients and capture new contracts through targeted business development activities.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the Aerospace and Defence sectors.
* Work closely with clients to understand their operational challenges and develop tailored solutions from TRIGO's portfolio of services.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service delivery.
Proposal Development and Negotiation
* Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, collaborating with internal teams to align proposals with client needs and objectives.
* Deliver presentations and pitches to prospective clients.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure long-term business partnerships.
Project Coordination and Support
* Oversee the successful execution of service delivery, working closely with the operations team to ensure that client expectations are met.
* Address any service delivery issues, facilitating timely resolutions to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Reporting and Performance Tracking
* Maintain up-to-date records of business development activities, including pipeline, sales forecasts, and client interactions using the CRM.
* Provide regular reports to senior management on business development performance, new opportunities, and client feedback.
Requirements
* 5 years of experience in Business Development, or Sales roles specifically focused on selling consulting services.
* Proven track record of securing new business and managing client relationships within a technical or engineering-focused environment.
* Technical proficiency is preferred, with the ability to confidently engage in discussions on engineering and quality management topics with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients at all levels.
* Ability to understand technical services and translate them into tailored solutions for clients.
* Proficiency in CRM systems, Sales Navigator and MS Office Suite.
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
