As a senior member of our Strategic Insights and Planning team, you will play a key role in developing and delivering business analytics solutions to support the University's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of business analytics dashboards and reporting to provide insights to decision-makers
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and deliver projects, identifying risks and resolving issues as they arise
  • Work with project managers, business representatives, and technical teams to deliver systems that support effective and efficient business processes
  • Develop and maintain accurate and robust data mining and reporting systems across key areas
  • Represent SIP requirements and concerns in UoD data governance initiatives
  • Support the monitoring of data quality within reporting systems
  • Cultivate a stronger awareness of and engagement with the wider communities of practice in data visualisation
Requirements
  • Extensive experience of building and using databases/reporting tools
  • Active engagement in the wider communities of practice related to data visualisation
  • Experience of writing executive-level reports and presenting to diverse users
  • Excellent business analysis and requirements gathering skills
  • Highly proficient IT skills, particularly Alteryx, Tableau, and Excel
  • Experience and/or practical working knowledge of using SQL
  • Ability to foster a positive culture of energetic and creative problem-solving
  • Commitment to own continuous personal and professional development
