About the Role
This exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Suffolk New College. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking training and assessment of courses within our Gas Assessment Centre.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about engaging and motivating people, demonstrating creativity and innovation alongside delivering best teaching practice to ensure students receive an exceptional experience.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of current industry standards, trends and technology and experience of working with apprentices on site.
A good standard of education including Maths and English at level 2 (GCSE 4/C), a level 3 qualification in plumbing and up-to-date gas qualifications are essential. Relevant teacher training can be provided to those individuals who demonstrate the potential to become effective teachers.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £31,000 per annum, plus market forces supplement of up to £4,383 dependent on qualifications and experience. You will also enjoy 35 hours per week, 52 weeks a year.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake training and assessment of courses within our Gas Assessment Centre.
- Deliver best teaching practice to ensure students receive an exceptional experience.
- Maintain knowledge of current industry standards, trends and technology.
- Work with apprentices on site to deliver training and assessment.
