Strategic Business Liaison

As a Strategic Business Liaison, you will serve as a vital bridge between our technology and business teams. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with stakeholders to deliver the roadmap and maintain the ongoing best practices within our supply chain teams. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will be working with various audiences, including supply chain teams and management, external partners, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business users to gain input to the roadmap and refine it based on business needs and practicalities.
- Map business needs to system abilities and constraints, working with internal and external partners.
- Gain consensus and buy-in from key stakeholders on all major decisions.
- Inspect and evaluate product progress, signing off features based on acceptability to business requirements.
- Ask probing questions and challenge assumptions to requirements to focus on value and establish practicality.
Ongoing Responsibilities:
- Work with business users to ensure operational goals utilize system best practices and that systems enhance business objectives with best practice usage.
- Refine ongoing system usage to achieve improved efficiency and data accuracy.
- Reviews proposed system updates and proposes testing plans for the business to ensure successful product updates.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar or equivalent role.
- Detailed knowledge of Oracle Product Information Management and SAP MM.
- Supply chain business experience is essential.
- In-depth expertise in refining technical requirements at system and integration level.
- Relevant qualifications are desirable.
- Excellent project management skills, able to deliver multiple projects to tight deadlines.
