Technical Sound Engineer

Village Church seeks an experienced Audio/Visual Specialist to join its Production Team. This key role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality audio and visual experiences that enhance worship services and other events.
Main Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain Village Church's audio systems, ensuring exceptional sound quality and minimal technical issues.
- Collaborate with the Worship Leader, band, and speaker(s) to deliver engaging and effective presentations.
- Manage volunteer teams, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure their success.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve audio and visual quality, adhering to Village Church's standards and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of new technologies and workflows, staying up-to-date with industry advancements.
- Work closely with the Production Ministry Lead to ensure seamless execution of services and events.
- 5+ years of experience in audio and visual production, preferably in a church or related setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in operating and maintaining audio systems, including mixing consoles and PA equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and individuals.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering solutions that meet Village Church's standards.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
$20-$22 per hour, with opportunities for professional growth and development within Village Church.
