Sound Archive Engineer

As a leading hub for the Unlocking Our Sound Heritage project, we require a skilled Sound Archive Engineer (Digital Transfer) to contribute to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for digitizing 5,000 physical sound items from our collections and other London region collections, adhering to international standards and best practices.
We seek candidates with a proven track record in creating digital copies of audio recordings, editing metadata, and utilizing project software. A relevant degree or equivalent, along with professional experience in audio archival work, is mandatory.
Salary: £28,400 - £31,980 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in preserving and making accessible historical sound recordings.
