Clinical Research Optometrist

Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Optometrist to join our team. As a Resident Optometrist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical services to patients, while also contributing to the development of our hospital's ophthalmology services.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver a range of optometry clinical services to the highest standards, including low vision, specialist refraction, and paediatric refraction services.
- Undertake clinical audit, research, and administrative tasks to support the development of our hospital's ophthalmology services.
- Work closely with Consultant Ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to provide specialist care and ensure a high standard of patient care.
- Contribute to the development of our hospital's ophthalmology services, including the design and implementation of clinical trials and research studies.

Person Specification:- College of Optometrists' Scheme for Registration complete
- General Optical Council registration
- Member of College of Optometrists
- Experience managing a range of ophthalmic conditions
- Experience working with adult and paediatric patients
- Experience working as part of a team
