About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Resident Optometrist to join our dynamic Ophthalmology Department at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality optometry clinical services to patients across a range of hospital optometry and ophthalmology clinics.
  • Work closely with Consultant Ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to provide specialist care and support.
  • Undertake clinical audit, research, and administrative tasks to contribute to the development of the department.
  • Participate in additional professional training, such as College certificates in medical retina, glaucoma, and independent prescribing.
