We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated optometrist to join our dynamic and friendly team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The role of a Specialist Optometrist is varied and stimulating, offering opportunities to work in Ophthalmology clinics such as glaucoma, medical retina, cornea, and cataract, as well as supporting our core optometric services.

As a Specialist Optometrist, you will be given the guidance you need and autonomy to develop and flourish within the service.

We are looking for an individual with excellent clinical and communication skills, who is committed to providing exceptional patient care.

About Us

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a large dynamic ophthalmology department with 16 consultant ophthalmologists and 16 optometrists, including resident, specialist, and advanced clinical optometrists.

We are a leading clinical and academic centre with a national and international reputation for excellence, recognized for providing 'outstanding' care to our patients and rated 'Good' overall by the Care Quality Commissioner.
