We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Support Nurse to join our team at NHS Scotland.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will undertake supportive visits within Care Homes across Aberdeen City and provide advice and guidance to support the implementation of improvement work through education and sharing of best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with care home staff and ACH&SCP colleagues to support homes to meet care requirements using a quality improvement approach.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to support the implementation of improvement work.
- Develop and maintain relationships with care home staff and ACH&SCP colleagues to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Contribute to the development of quality improvement initiatives and projects.
Requirements:
- Post-registration experience in a public health, quality improvement, or infection prevention and control role.
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
- Interest in infection prevention and control and passion for supporting the delivery of high-quality care in the Care Home setting.
- Additional knowledge and experience related to tissue viability and/or palliative and end of life care are desirable.
What We Offer:
A full-time, fixed-term post with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Part-time hours will also be considered.
