Deeside Care Home is a 68-bedded care facility that provides residents with exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care in a luxury setting.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Empower independence by assisting residents with their daily routines, encouraging them to make positive choices and remain as independent as possible.
  • Provide personalized care by following and supporting each resident's care plan, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
  • Monitor residents' health, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and helping with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
  • Uphold dignity by ensuring residents feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
  • Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, responding quickly to emergencies or call bells.
  • Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Bring joy to residents' lives and make them smile every day.

About You:



  • SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant is ideal, but we welcome those with transferable skills and a passion for care.
  • A genuine interest in caring for the elderly and a commitment to delivering excellent service are essential.
  • Integrity, respect, and a strong sense of teamwork are necessary for this role.
