Job Title: Client Services Director - Commercial

Two Circles is a global sports agency that connects fans with sports properties using data. We work with some of the world's biggest sports organisations, including the F1, Premier League, Wimbledon, and UEFA, and have been named Sport Industry Agency of the Year four times.

We have a team of around 700 Two Circlers working from nine offices across the world, who work cross-regionally to service our expanding international client base.

We are seeking a Client Services Director (Commercial) to join our London office. This role will report directly to the Director Marketing & Consultancy, Lars Stegelmann, and will be responsible for ensuring alignment with overall business goals for the UK market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the UK market, targeting growth opportunities and key customer segments in the UK (in alignment with the Market Leadership Team for the UK market and the German speaking market (DACH))
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential target customers, leveraging market insights and your existing network
  • Proactively generate leads through networking, industry events, and digital channels, driving business development and new revenue streams
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their evolving needs are met
  • Prepare and present tailored sales proposals, showcasing the company's solutions and aligning with customer objectives
  • Lead negotiations from proposal submission to contract signing, managing the entire deal process to successful closure
  • Conduct high-level sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients and at industry events, positioning the company as a market leader
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery, supporting clients from contract execution to successful implementation
  • Conduct regular market analysis and use insights to continuously refine the sales strategy, ensuring a competitive edge
  • Monitor and report on key sales metrics, providing regular forecasts and performance updates to the leadership team
  • Ensure high client retention and satisfaction through proactive relationship management, leveraging upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive long-term business growth
Requirements:
  • Proven success in selling complex, consultative services, ideally within the sports industry
  • Consultative selling skills: Ability to identify the real needs of a client and outline ways of how to master these challenges
  • Strong ability to build, nurture, and expand long-term client relationships with an empathetic and trustworthy approach
  • Deep understanding of the global and UK sports industry, including key trends, market opportunities, and major stakeholders
  • Established network within the sports business, particularly with brands/sponsors/advertisers, rights holders and event organisers/venues
  • Genuine passion for sports & entertainment, with a comprehensive understanding of the business and commercial aspects of the sports and entertainment ecosystem
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work, both individually and within teams
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the sports industry, with significant exposure to its strategic, commercial, and operational facets
  • Strong data literacy, including experience in market research and consulting to support strategic sales and decision-making
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and business development purposes
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous
  • Motivational and charismatic leadership style, with the ability to inspire clients and internal teams
  • Confident in engaging and communicating with senior executives (C-Level), with the ability to present and negotiate strategic solutions effectively
