Head of Financial Operations | Transactional

The role requires an experienced Finance Manager with an extensive background in managing shared services. You will need to be passionate about what you do, with a common-sense approach to getting things done. As the Head of Finance Operations, you will be responsible for delivering scalable finance operations covering key transactional processes including Purchase to Pay (P2P).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Defining KPIs to track the performance of key transactional processes and P2P financial metrics, setting agreed targets and thresholds and driving mitigating actions for any areas predicted to deviate from thresholds.
  • Agreeing SLAs with the Senior Leadership team (SLT), including key heads within the Finance team and other key business stakeholders.
  • Defining KPIs to track performance against the agreed SLAs.
  • Leading a scalable and lean Finance Operations team using efficient processes and automation to ensure best-in-class service whilst maintaining a sufficient but low growth cost base.
  • Working on continuous improvements and other finance projects as required.
  • A strong leader driving a high-quality and on-time delivery mindset whilst developing and supporting the team through continuous improvement.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to influence across functions not only within finance but across the business.
  • Experience delivering in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using data and KPI dashboards to understand what is performing well, what isn't and why, and make recommendations for change.
  • Experience of root cause analysis and resolution.
