Job Title: Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting students with challenging behaviour?

GSL Education is currently working with a variety of schools in Winchester, supporting their staffing needs. We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a passion for working with students who have additional needs. The role will involve supporting both teachers and pupils, helping to keep the students engaged in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with challenging behaviour in a SEMH setting
  • Working closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
  • Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help
  • Assisting with the development of student behaviour plans and tracking progress

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with challenging behaviour
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • DBS registered to the update service
