About the Role:

This is a full-time, term-time only position that requires a strong passion for working with students who have additional needs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in environments with challenging behaviour and have a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of their pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers and pupils in maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Help students engage in their learning and develop positive relationships with their peers
  • Work collaboratively with the school team to develop and implement behaviour support plans
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in SEMH, PRU, or youth work settings
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
