Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with challenging behaviour in a variety of schools in Winchester.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, term-time only position that requires a strong passion for working with students who have additional needs. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with challenging behaviour in a variety of settings
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
  • Provide individualised support to students to help them engage in their learning
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong passion for working with students who have additional needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience working in SEMH or PRU settings is desirable
