Globally renowned events business is seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Expo Sales Manager to join their successful sponsorship sales team. This role involves working across a leading, flagship expo portfolio, with a focus on the Italian market.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts through consultative selling and tailored marketing activities.
  2. Generate new business opportunities, increase pipeline, and bring on new prospects.
  3. Sell high-value sponsorship and exhibition opportunities to clients.
  4. Pitch clients through phone and face-to-face meetings.
  5. Attend industry events and conferences, including travel to the US, Asia, and Middle East.
  6. Act as a market specialist, staying up-to-date with industry trends and knowledge.
  7. Utilize consultative selling techniques to sell creatively and through solution-led selling.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in b2b sponsorship sales, preferably from a large-scale expos background with revenue delivery of over £1m per year.
  • Fluent Italian language skills.
  • Strong new business and account management capabilities.
  • Degree-educated, ideally.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving high revenue targets.
  • Consultative sales approach is essential.
