About the Role

We are seeking an experienced clinician to join our Inreach Outreach Team as a CAMHS Specialist. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist support and intervention to children, young people, and their families within a range of settings.

Main Responsibilities

  • Respond to children and young people's presentations and admissions to hospital due to psychiatric crisis, with support from the team.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist support and intervention to children, young people, and their families within a range of settings.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to support recovery and deliver interventions in the least restrictive environment.
  • Work in partnership with families and other agencies to achieve the desired outcomes for the child or young person.

Person Specification

  • Professional degree or equivalent qualification and registration in nursing, social work, OT, or other relevant profession with related CAMHS experience.
  • Past qualifying training in CAMHS or therapeutic approaches with children, young people, and families.
  • Training in psychotherapeutic approaches with children and young people.
  • Training in clinical supervision such as ENB 998 or mentorship and/or equivalent experience and training.
