About the Job
We are seeking an experienced School Business Manager to join our team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic operation of key business functions, including compliance, financial management, HR, health and safety, premises, IT, and administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Strategy:
- Lead financial management to ensure alignment with the school's strategic goals.
- Oversee recruitment and professional development of administrative staff.
- Develop and implement marketing and fundraising strategies.
- Ensure staff well-being and promote the school's vision and values.
- Compliance:
- Manage statutory compliance and maintain risk registers and insurance cover.
- Ensure policies and practices meet legal and regulatory standards.
- Financial Management:
- Create and manage budgets, prepare accounts for audits, and ensure efficient day-to-day financial operations.
- Lead procurement processes, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning.
