A leading secondary school in Brent is looking for a dedicated Graduate HR Officer to join their team in January. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your HR career in a vibrant school setting.
Key Highlights
* Dynamic HR Officer wanted for a Successful Secondary School in Brent, North West London
* Start Date January 2025, initially temporary with potential to transition to permanent
* Daily Rate up to £110 depending on Experience for Exceptional HR Graduates
* Permanent Salary on Offer, Circa £25,584 - £30,060 (Pro Rata for Term-Time Only)
* You will need to have a Level 3 CIPD, as this is essential – Or about to qualify

Your Role as HR Officer
As the HR Officer, you’ll be at the heart of the school’s operations, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will help maintain a positive and professional work environment, supporting the staff that makes the school’s success possible.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job ads, shortlisting candidates, and coordinating interviews.
* Managing onboarding and induction for new staff to ensure compliance with school and statutory requirements.
* Maintaining and updating HR records, systems, and compliance documentation.
* Advising staff on HR policies and resolving queries in line with employment legislation.
* Supporting payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with finance teams.
What the School is Looking For
* To excel in this role, you’ll need a Degree in HR/Human Resources, plus Level 3 CIPD qualification as a minimum.
* A proven track record in HR, ideally within education or a similar fast-paced setting would be advantageous but is not essential.
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* A proactive, team-oriented approach and excellent communication skills.
* The ability to work effectively within the constraints of a term-time-only schedule.
