Role Overview

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Employability/Vocational Tutor to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Delivering High-Quality Training: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative sessions to Recruitment apprentices, ensuring that learning outcomes are met, and learners are motivated and supported throughout their apprenticeship.
  2. Assessment and Feedback: Assess learners' work in line with awarding body requirements, providing constructive feedback and setting SMART targets to support progression.
  3. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and review of the curriculum to ensure it is current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.
  4. Support and Mentoring: Provide ongoing support, guidance, and mentoring to learners, helping them to overcome any barriers to learning and achieve their qualifications.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of learner progress, attendance, and assessments, in accordance with Juniper Training's policies and procedures.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless delivery of the apprenticeship program and promote best practices.
  7. CPD: Engage in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with industry changes, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices.
Qualifications and Experience

We're looking for someone with:

  • CAVA or equivalent
  • Experience of working as an Employability Tutor
  • Experience in delivering Employability training and assessing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners
  • Competent IT skills for delivering online learning and maintaining learner records
