Job Description

We are seeking an Organisational Development and Engagement Lead to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving employee engagement initiatives and improving HR operational processes. You will also provide coaching and guidance to junior managers on employee relations matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture
  • Manage and take ownership of all HR administrative processes, ensuring timely completion and accuracy
  • Coach and advise junior managers on employee relations (ER) matters, including absence management, performance management, and flexible working
  • Improve HR operational processes through continuous innovation and efficiency
  • Support recruitment efforts, from coordination and interviews to onboarding
  • Stay informed about upcoming legislative changes and assist in updating and aligning policies and processes
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar HR Advisor role, ideally in a medium-sized organisation
  • Experience of owning employee relations cases, including absence management, performance management, and flexible working
  • Experience of supporting HR processes and recruitment activities end-to-end
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to support stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive and analytical mindset to tackle problems and improve processes
  • The ability to work autonomously, handling sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • A CIPD qualification (or working towards one) would be an advantage
