Hardware Development Lead

Responsibilities:
- Leading the development of complex electronic systems for our clients.
- Designing and developing PCBs using FPGAs, SoCs, and high-speed network interfaces.
- Implementing and managing PCB layout, fabrication, and assembly subcontractors.
- Testing and setting up PCBs, including writing test firmware and software.
Requirements:
- A good first degree (1st/2.1) or PhD in a STEM subject.
- A strong academic background, typically including A-level Maths and Physics.
- At least 3 years of experience in one of the following areas: complex PCB design, FPGA development in VHDL, or software development in embedded C/C++.
Compensation:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of circa £65,000, dependent on skillset and experience, plus a discretionary annual bonus based on company performance. Other benefits include 25 days holiday plus standard UK public holidays, 10% company contribution to pension, life insurance, income protection, cycle to work scheme, and EV car scheme.
