Community Care Worker

Turning Point is seeking a compassionate and resourceful Community Care Worker to join our team. As a Community Care Worker, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with learning disabilities across England.
This is a dynamic role that requires a strong focus on promoting independence, enhancing daily living skills, and ensuring the highest standards of care and safety are maintained. You will work closely with our residents, their families, and our multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
In this role, you will be responsible for arranging activities, developing life skills, and supporting individuals with medication and finances.

About the Role:
- Arrange activities and develop life skills
- Support individuals with medication and finances
- Promote independence and enhance daily living skills
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and contribute to service monitoring requirements
Requirements:
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to work varied shifts
- Knowledge of learning disabilities and complex needs (desirable)
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary of £24,000 - £31,000 per annum
- 29 days' paid holiday per year (increasing with service)
