The Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Ecologist, playing a key role in leading high-profile ecological and rewilding projects across the UK and beyond. Our mission is to accelerate nature recovery and make a tangible impact on ecosystem recovery.

Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day project management, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, resources, and commercials are well-managed.
  • Project delivery, including ecological mitigation, habitat creation, and nature recovery work.
  • Regular project updates to stakeholders on strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Change management as needed to meet project outputs.
  • Project scope and objectives definition.
  • Client meetings attendance.
  • Bid team support (pricing and project information).
Qualifications and Experience
  • A degree in Ecology or a related subject.
  • CIEEM Membership.
  • Full UK driving licence & own vehicle.
  • 5+ years in ecology or rewilding projects.
  • UKHab surveys expertise.
  • Ecological tendering.
  • Bird survey (breeding and wintering).
  • Protected Species licence.
  • EcIA and HRA reports production.
  • Mitigation licence compilation.
  • GIS mapping competence.
  • Biodiversity Net Gain delivery and UK habitat classification system.
