Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Conservation Professional to join our team in the Midlands. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary based on experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing high-profile ecological and rewilding projects, including surveying flagship rewilding projects, drafting environmental improvement plans, and developing bio-indicators.

You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from ecological mitigation and habitat creation to nature recovery work. As an experienced professional, you will provide project updates to stakeholders and implement changes as necessary to meet project outputs.

A key aspect of this role is your ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, resources, and commercials. You will also determine and define project scope and objectives, develop and manage detailed project schedules, and attend client meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Ecology or a related subject, CIEEM Membership, and a Full UK driving licence. You should also have extensive experience in ecology or rewilding projects, including UKHab surveys, ecological tendering, bird survey, and production of EcIA and HRA reports.
