Are you a seasoned Air Freight professional looking for a new challenge? Do you have a solid foundation in freight forwarding and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service?

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Freight Specialist to join our team at Baxter Freight Limited. As an Air Freight Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire air freight operation, from generating documentation to ensuring final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage import and export air freight shipments, navigating challenges and finding solutions to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare documentation for import clearance, monitor arrivals, keep track of entries, collection duties and taxes, and arrange deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with our in-house customs team to ensure timely and accurate customs entries.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, haulers, airlines, and overseas agents to guarantee top-quality service.
  • Develop relationships with hauler, warehouse partners, airlines, and overseas agents to meet our customers' expectations.
  • Update account managers with the status of their shipments to ensure high standards of customer service.
  • Perform general freight administration tasks, including invoicing, costing, and processing departmental invoices.

Requirements:
  • Seasoned Air Freight professional with a solid foundation in freight forwarding
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Forward Office is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and build lasting relationships
