Our client is a leading freight forwarder with a strong presence in the UK market. With a turnover exceeding £80m+ group-wide, they are well-established and respected in the industry.

Job Description

As a Freight Forwarder, you will play a key role in the import and export operations of our client's Nottingham branch. You will report to the Import & Export Operations Manager and be responsible for preparing air freight price quotations, handling order traces, and organizing air freight transport solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare air freight price quotations, including freight prices, port charges, and insurance costs
* Handle order traces and process pre-alerts
* Organize air freight transport solutions through third-party agencies and shipping lines

Requirements

* 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, with a bias towards air freight
* Experience of pricing, quoting, and planning customer deliveries for air freight
