Job Summary

Transun Travel is seeking a highly organized and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our core team based in Oxford. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for coordinating the recruitment and administration of our seasonal staff working in the Arctic Circle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the annual selection process for recruiting seasonal staff, including advertising job vacancies, liaising with recruitment agencies, and arranging recruitment days.
  • Administer all HR paperwork, including issuing contracts of employment, compiling staff records, and maintaining an employee database.
  • Oversee the payroll process and ensure compliance with UK, Finnish, and Swedish legislation.
  • Deliver staff inductions and provide references as required.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee relations issues and ensure that all transactional HR elements are handled efficiently.

Requirements

  • Experience in human resources or administration, with a strong background in recruitment and payroll management.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Confident in using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a flexible and adaptable approach to tasks.
  • A 'can do' attitude with a collaborative approach to tasks and a willingness to travel overseas at short notice.
