Head of HR

This is a pivotal full-time role that combines strategic and operational HR responsibilities. As the Head of HR, you will lead a professional and coordinated service to the academic departments of the Social Sciences Division, the Social Sciences Board, and the central university in all aspects of the employment cycle of academic staff, academic title and reward schemes, and divisional office appointments.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure efficient and effective systems and processes are in place to meet the needs of key stakeholders while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and University policy and procedure.
- Build excellent links with departmental colleagues to understand the issues they face and provide flexible and solutions-focused support.
- Attend the Head of Division's senior leadership team meetings and be a member of the Divisional Registrar's senior management team.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the University's goals and objectives.
