Job Description
Agilent is seeking a talented professional to join our European Back Office team as a Business Support Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing public and private tenders, analyzing data, and providing support to our sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- You will conduct thorough research on tenders, evaluating and selecting opportunities that align with our sales strategy and goals.
- You will work closely with our sales team to develop tender response strategies and create comprehensive bid packages.
- You will manage contacts with the sales force, overseeing the activation of tenders and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- You will provide support to our sales team with data and CRM management, creating ad-hoc analyses using tools like Microsoft Excel, Access, and Power BI.
- You will work with our field sales team to enable accurate forecasting capabilities and evaluate third-party services to optimize vendor selection.
- You will be responsible for extracting and elaborating data on service parameters, communicating results to partners and stakeholders.
- You will contribute to the analysis and evaluation of business data and strategy, supporting the development and management of sales platforms and tools.
- Additionally, you may be accountable for supporting contract management, asset oversight, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements
- We require an experienced professional with a proactive attitude, flexibility, and accountability.
- You should have some higher education and/or specialized training/certification or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- You should possess analytical and organizational skills, expertise in Microsoft Office and Power BI, and experience in collecting, organizing, and disseminating information and data accurately.
- You should have exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of English is mandatory, and knowledge of additional languages is a preferred requirement.
