Job Title: Executive Chef

Meridian Business Support Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a Private Healthcare provider based in Manchester.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and cook meals, taking into account special requests and dietary requirements.
  • Ensure operational standards comply with food safety policies and guidelines, as well as statutory regulations.
  • Take full shift responsibility for the catering operation in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Control stock effectively, including ordering food products and checking deliveries.
  • Monitor and adapt food production to minimize waste.
  • Research and develop varied and interesting menus, considering healthy eating guidelines and dietary requirements.
  • Provide variety and choice for service users, adapting to changing needs and dietary requirements.
  • Ensure food safety standards and kitchen cleaning standards are met.
  • Supervise catering staff, ensuring quality of work meets operational standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Experience producing meals for large groups on time and to budget.
