Job Summary:

LTF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our partner primary school in Kingston. As a Behavioural Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex educational and behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive learning environments.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to provide a nurturing and engaging classroom experience.
  • Support students with individualized learning plans to reach their full potential.
  • Lead small group sessions to promote key skills and reinforce learning objectives.
  • Assist with classroom management and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff to ensure seamless support for students.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or relevant qualification in Teaching Assistant or SEN Support.
  • Relevant experience working with students with SEN in an educational setting.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills and ability to implement strategies to promote positive behaviour.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Flexibility to work with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
