Junior Vendor Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Junior Vendor Specialist to join our Sales team at Arrow Electronics, Inc. As a Junior Vendor Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our current vendors and working closely with our Account Managers to identify key reseller partners with strong potential to develop sales of our vendors' products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our vendors, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to drive business growth.
- Business Development: Identify new partners and engage with them to drive incremental sales, providing regular commercial training and facilitating the delivery of non-technical training.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Regularly forecast opportunities and provide detailed information for both short- and long-term deals, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Sales Support: Provide sales support activities for the Order to Invoice process, including quoting, fulfilling demand, ensuring on-time delivery of orders, and troubleshooting customer problems.
- Product Knowledge: Act as a Product Specialist, developing in-depth knowledge of our vendors' product portfolios and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
- Self-Development: Take ownership of your professional development, achieving all objectives set and staying ahead of the curve in terms of product knowledge and job competencies.
- Customer Service Excellence: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors, customers, and colleagues.
- Business Acumen: Have a solid understanding of business principles and be able to analyze complex data to drive informed decision-making.
- Negotiation and Influencing: Be an effective negotiator and influencer, able to build strong relationships with vendors and customers to drive business growth.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft tools, particularly MS Excel, and have a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting.
