About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Junior Vendor Specialist to join our Sales team at Arrow Electronics, Inc. As a Junior Vendor Specialist, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our vendors, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our vendors, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to drive sales growth.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to acquire and retain business within partner accounts.
  • Commercial Training: Provide regular commercial training to partners via MS Teams, facilitating the delivery of non-technical training to drive sales.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Regularly forecast opportunities and provide detailed reports for short- and long-term deals, supporting the Sales function in achieving sales targets.
  • Order to Invoice Process: Provide Sales Support activities for the Order to Invoice process, ensuring timely delivery of orders and troubleshooting customer problems.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of our vendor product portfolio, acting as a Product Specialist and providing expert advice to partners.
  • Self-Development: Take ownership of self-development, achieving all objectives set and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Excellence: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on delivering results and building strong relationships.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with good phone etiquette and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
  • Business Acumen: Have a sound understanding of business principles and the ability to interact with customers of all types.
  • Negotiation Skills: Possess effective negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Technical Skills: Have a good understanding of Microsoft tools, particularly MS Excel, and be proficient in using them to analyze data and drive business decisions.
