We are seeking a highly skilled Product Safety Engineer to join our team at Ultra Maritime Signature Management and Power (UK). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic Engineering department that ensures the highest safety standards across our cutting-edge maritime projects.

As a Product Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding lives and assets in a high-stakes environment. You will be responsible for providing credible advice and guidance to the wider business and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have acknowledged competency in Product Safety Engineering with a proven track record of delivering a Product Safety Management System (PSMS) within a complex system environment. You should also hold significant knowledge of applicable legislation and standards, such as HASAWA, COSHH, REACh, BS EN 61508, Def Stan 00-056, and Def Stan 00-055.

A degree qualification in a relevant Engineering/Systems/Safety discipline is essential. CEng or equivalent experience is desirable, as well as membership of a relevant industry-wide body.
