Resource Planning Specialist

Ultra Maritime is seeking a skilled Resource Analyst to join our team in the Engineering Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day resourcing operations, ensuring that the engineering demand and supply are aligned to meet our program commitments.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the engineering demand data across the Ultra Maritime SMaP UK business, ensuring accurate forecasting and allocation of resources.
- Work with Programmes and Engineering teams to identify and prioritize the resources required to deliver a balanced and optimized resource solution.
- Develop and maintain management information using tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, JIRA, and QlikSense, to provide visibility into the demand and supply picture.
- Facilitate the alignment of future engineering resourcing with the business development and financial management teams.
- Champion engineering productivity by influencing planners with accurate resourcing information and recommending improvements to increase visibility of resource allocation and utilization.
- Identify and understand training and development needs across the engineering function.
- A higher diploma or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Exposure to project scheduling and project management.
- Advanced business reporting tools experience (Power BI, MS Excel, etc.).
- Microsoft PowerPoint experience and skills.
- Possession of a full driving license.
