Resource Planning Specialist

Ultra Maritime is seeking a highly skilled Resource Analyst or Planner to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will be responsible for day-to-day resourcing operations, ensuring that we have the right resources in place to deliver our programmes and business commitments.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage engineering demand data across the Ultra Maritime SMaP UK business.
- Accumulate engineering supply forecasts to meet projected forward loads.
- Work with Programmes and Engineering to identify and prioritise resources required to deliver a balanced and optimised resource solution.
- Develop management information using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, JIRA, and QlikSense.
- Facilitate alignment of future engineering resourcing with business development and financial management teams.
- Champion engineering productivity by influencing planners with accurate resourcing information and recommending improvements.
- Identify and understand training and development needs across the engineering function.
- A higher diploma or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Exposure to project scheduling and project management.
- Advanced business reporting tools experience (Power BI, MS Excel, etc.).
- Microsoft PowerPoint experience and skills.
- Desirable to have worked in an Agile project management environment.
- Desirable to have JIRA and/or QlikSense experience, including data manipulation and dashboard production.
