Job Title: Resource Planning Specialist

Ultra Maritime is seeking a skilled Resource Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day resourcing operations, ensuring that the engineering demand data is accurately managed across the Ultra Maritime SMaP UK business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accumulate engineering supply forecasts to meet projected forward loads.
  • Work with Programmes and Engineering to identify and prioritise resources required to deliver a balanced and optimised resource solution.
  • Develop management information using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, JIRA, and QlikSense.
  • Facilitate alignment of future engineering resourcing with business development and financial management teams.
  • Champion engineering productivity by influencing planners with accurate resourcing information.
  • Identify and understand training and development needs across the engineering function.

Requirements:
  • A higher diploma or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Exposure to project scheduling and project management.
  • Advanced business reporting tools experience.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint experience and skills.
  • Desirable to have worked in an Agile project management environment.
  • Desirable to have JIRA and/or QlikSense experience.
