Ultra Maritime is seeking a highly skilled Assembly Systems Specialist to join their team in the assembly department. As an Assembly Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assembling and wiring electronic control cubicles systems and sub-assemblies to drawings, wiring schedules, and circuit diagrams in a timely and professional manner.
The successful candidate will be responsible for refurbishing returned equipment, installing and modifying equipment on customer premises, and ensuring all work is completed to Company standard. In addition, the Assembly Systems Specialist will need to work with Engineering to resolve problems as they occur, operate all equipment safely and effectively, and create live DRS sheets for the Assembly Team Leader and/or Manufacturing Engineer.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a strong understanding of health and safety requirements and legislation, experience in a comparable role within a similar industry, and a proven ability to correctly interpret manufacturing information and carry out related self-inspection tasks. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work to deadlines.
The Assembly Systems Specialist will be required to hold relevant security vetting clearance, have a driving license, and be willing to travel to alternative locations in the UK and abroad to undertake occasional off-site activities. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to work overtime and unsociable hours as and when required.
Ultra Maritime offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package. If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking for a new challenge, please submit your application.
